Websites for organizations with many locations

For mid-size and large organizations running dozens or hundreds of clinics, stores, branches, franchises or chapters: one system, planned first and rolled out in phases.

Working with organizations nationwide.

Multi-location website design means building one system that every location lives inside: a shared design, a single source of location data, location pages that carry real local content, and clear rules about who can change what. Signal Grove plans that system before anything is designed, proves it with a pilot group of locations, then rolls it out in waves.

The usual failure is familiar to anyone who has run a network of sites. Each location ends up with its own aging website or a thin page with a different address, the brand drifts from region to region, and nobody owns keeping hours, services and staff accurate. Richard spent more than two decades across ecommerce, merchandising, sourcing and complex multi-location programs before Signal Grove, and the discipline carries straight over: build the system first, write the decisions down, and check everything before it launches.

The platforms Signal Grove operates are directories and marketplaces of other businesses, not organizations with locations of their own. What they share with a large program is the architecture underneath: large sets of pages generated from structured location data and organized by place and category.

Which organizations is this built for?

Franchise systems
One brand across independently run locations, with rules for what each franchisee can change and what stays fixed.
Healthcare and clinic networks
Providers, services, hours and insurance details per location, where accuracy and accessibility are not optional.
Retail and service chains
Store or branch pages that answer the local question quickly: is it open, what does it offer, how do I get there.
Branch networks
Banks, credit unions, insurers and professional firms whose credibility has to be identical in every office.
Nonprofits and associations with chapters
A national identity with chapter pages that local volunteers can keep current without breaking the brand.

How is a multi-location program run?

  1. 01

    Discover and model

Inventory every location, service, region and existing site, then decide the location model, page architecture and editing rules before design starts.

  2. 02

    Pilot

Build the system and launch it for a small group of locations, so the templates, data and governance are tested on real pages.

  3. 03

    Roll out in waves

Extend the proven system to the remaining locations in planned groups, with redirects mapped and every template checked as it goes.

  4. 04

    Govern and improve

Hand over documentation, publishing rules and reporting by location, or keep the system running with us on a care or marketing plan.

Common questions

More on the websites page and in pricing.

The structure is designed for the number you have and the number you plan to have, whether that is twenty locations or several hundred. Location pages come from one maintained set of location data, so a new location is an update rather than a new build.

Migration is where multi-location organizations most often lose it, usually through missing redirects. Every existing URL is mapped to its new home before launch, and the redirects are checked after it. Nobody can promise rankings, but a careful migration keeps what you have earned.

Who can change what is part of the scope and is decided before launch. Some organizations keep everything central; others let locations update hours, staff and news within set limits. The approval rules are written down either way.

Each page shares a structure but not its substance: its own services, people, photographs, directions, hours and local detail. The structure makes hundreds of pages manageable; the local content is what makes them worth indexing.

Yes. Signal Grove is based in Central Florida and works nationwide. A multi-location program runs remotely, with scheduled working sessions and shared documentation.

It is quoted to scope, because the work depends on the number of locations, the integrations, the content migration and the rollout plan. You get a fixed number before work starts. There is no published starting price, on purpose.
