The project

The Coin HQ

A platform we own and operate.

Collectors search for three different things and most sites answer one of them: a dealer within driving distance, a show worth the trip, and a straight answer about what a piece is. So all three are first-class sections here rather than a directory with content marketing bolted on. Dealers filter by category, state and city. Shows run as a dated calendar, which means the maintenance burden is real and ongoing rather than a one-time import. The guides and the collector tools handle the part of the decision that happens before anybody is ready to contact a shop. Designed, built and operated by Signal Grove.

The directory

Filtered by category, state and city

The Coin HQ directory page headed Browse Coin Shops, with category, state and city filters down the left and a grid of featured shop listings beside them
The calendar

Shows, with dates somebody has to keep true

A show calendar is only worth anything if the dates are current, which makes it the most maintenance-heavy part of the platform and the reason most competitors do not have one.

The Coin HQ page headed Coin Show Calendar, describing a national guide to coin shows, conventions and bullion expos, above photographs of a show floor, a dealer case and a tray of graded coins
Tools and guides

The calculator, the value and the dealer card

Pieces of The Coin HQ laid out on a pale ground: the metal value calculator set to one troy ounce of 24K gold, its estimated melt value panel on navy, and a Featured dealer card for Charlotte Rare Coins
