Polk Screen Pros

Polk Screen Pros covers screen work: pool cages, lanais, porches, screen rooms and doors, with rescreening as the flagship. We own it. It is one of our own properties rather than a client build, which makes it the place we test what actually ranks before we recommend it to anybody else.

The whole thing is an argument about structure. Somebody with a torn pool cage in Auburndale does not search for a screen company, they search for their problem in their town. So the site is built as a page for every service in every city it covers, across eleven towns in the Polk core.

The part that matters is that those pages are not spun. Every city and service combination has its own body copy and its own local questions, written rather than templated, because a page assembled from a template reads like one and earns nothing. The guides sit behind them for the searches that come earlier, when somebody is still working out what a rescreen should cost.

The palette is a pool cyan against stone, with moss for the secondary actions, and a single sans at several weights. The pages are long and the visitor is scanning for their own town and their own problem, so the type does the sorting.
